Black Pepper Popcorn
Who doesn’t LOVE popcorn? I do and so do my kids. It is an acceptable and loved snack in our household. I have eliminated gross microwave popcorn for years, but we had gotten bored with the normal air popped variety. This is simple and delicious! It reminds me of the sea salt and black pepper potato chips.
4 cups air popped popcorn (I prefer organic blue when available, but any organic variety is perfect)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 drops black pepper essential oil
Sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt
1. Pop the popcorn into a large bowl
2. Melt the coconut oil (I tend to melt it on the air popper while it is popping, use the measuring receptacle)
3. Add the black pepper essential oil to coconut oil
4. Sprinkle salt to taste over the popcorn
5. Drizzle coconut oil/black pepper oil over the popcorn
6. Toss
7. ENJOY!!
Uses for Thieves Household Cleaner
I just LOVE using one cleaner for literally everything in my house! I have several bottles of it around my house to give things a quick cleaning without ANY toxins!
Are you wondering why exactly it is so great? It contains thieves essential blend along with a soap based emulsifying agent. You only need a capful to 24-32 ounces of water and that means you can clean for MONTHS using just one bottle of THC! It is worth the $22.00 I pay as a wholesale member 10 times over. It also is a very economical solution to your household cleaning. For a 30 ounce bottle of cleaner it comes out to be $.67 each! Yes, for 67 CENTS you can clean your entire home for a couple weeks. Bye-bye gross dollar store chemical cleaners; hello thieves!

Focus Roll-On Blend
I decided to make a focus blend for myself with some of my favorite oils. I researched them using the Essential Oils Pocket Reference Guide, and what I have previously used to help with focus and concentration.
Vetiver is psychologically grounding, calming, and stabilizing. It is antiseptic, antispasmodic, relaxant, and circulatory stimulant.
Cedarwood stimulates the emotional center of the brain and the pineal gland to release melatonin. It is also recognized for its calming properties (EODR).
Lavender is calming, relaxing, balancing, and has been documented to improve mental acuity (EODR). It also smells great when blended with the earthy tones of Vetiver and Cedarwood.
Lemon promotes clarity of thought and purpose, improves memory, and can be used for anxiety (EODR). Lemon is a very happy oil in my opinion and brightens up my day.
Peppermint purifies and stimulates the conscious mind. Research indicates that inhaling peppermint during mental tasks, may help improve attention, focus, and performance (EODR).
Ingredients
- Empty 5 ml bottle
- 15 drops Vetvier
- 15 drops Cedarwood
- 15 drops Lavender
- 10 drops Peppermint
- 10 drops Lemon
Directions
- Fill the rest of the way with sweet almond oil and top with a roller-ball fitment
- I apply on the back of my neck to increase my ability to focus throughout the day.
Homemade Body Butter
This is my favorite homemade body butter recipe. It’s so nourishing and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup shea butter
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- 20 drops Lavender (where to buy)
- 15 drops Melrose
- 8 drops Tangerine
Directions
- Melt coconut oil and shea butter over low heat in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat when melted.
- Add almond oil and essential oils.
- Put mixture in freezer for 30 minutes.
- Remove from freezer and use a stand mixer to whip body butter.
- Store body butter in Mason jar.
DIY Hair Conditioner
My hair is super coarse and it works incredibly well! I do not dilute it with water, but for thinner hair I would and maybe use less almond oil. This recipe works best for coarse and thick hair.
Supplies
- 16 oz. bottle
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- 10 drops Rosemary
- 10 drops Cedarwood
- 4 vegetable capsules
- Apple cider vinegar
Directions
- Add all ingredients in 16 oz. bottle.
- Shake well and use as needed.
